I can certainly appreciate how the ingredient list looks daunting. There are somethings to consider when looking at an INCI list. The chemical names are required for every ingredient used in a cosmetic. THese are the internationally accepted listings that meet required laws for ingredient listing. While the names may sound like heavy duty chemicals the truth is these are naturally derived ingredients that are highly beneficial for the skin:
C9-11 Isoparaffin = distilled from wood and used as a fixative this is the same paraffin used to moisturize skin
Candelilla Cera (Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax) = a moisturizer derived from Slipper Plant found in California.
Cera Carnauba (Copernicia Cerifera ([Carnauba) ] Wax) = moisturizer derived from the Brazillian Wax Tree
Acrylates Crosspolymer = a salt based fixative used to adhere key ingredients to the lash.
Lanolin Acid = a humectant derived from wool
Cera Albe (Beeswax) = pure beeswax
Sorbeth-20 Beeswax = pure beeswax combined with resin from cherries and plums to create staying power
Butylene Glycol = humectant derived from distilling corn and glycerin
Cetyl Acetate = a powerful humectant derived from marine waxes
Acetylated Lanolin Alcohol = see Lanolin above - this is the more water resistant derivative
PVP = a protein comprised of nitrogen, carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and sulphur used as an emulsifer. Naturally ocurring in egg whites.
Cetyl Esters = see Cetyl Acetate above
Cetyl Alcohol = see Cetyl Acetate above
Nylon-12 = thickening agent derived from pure nylon fibres
Dimethicone = humectant derived from sand. Naturally occurring in all rock formations
Hydroxylated Lanolin & Hydrogenated Lanolin = see Lanolin Acid above - these forms are more liquid
Propylene Glycol = a powerful humectant derived from glycerin
Hydrolyzed Keratin = a liquid form of pure hair protein, derived from human hair
Panthenol = Vitamin B5
Serica (Silk Powder) = pure silk fibre powder
Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans = liquid form of proteins formed from sugar naturally occurring in human skin and hair
Adenosine Triphosphate = an organic compound found in human nucleic acid. Used to help active penetrate into the lash
Tocopherol = Vitamin E
Sodium Laureth-12 Sulfate = a surfactant derived from coconut oil
Hydroxyethylcellulose = a liquid form of the fibre from cotton plants used as an emulsifier
Magnesium Aluminum Silicate = a naturally occurring mineral used as a thickening agent
Triethanolamine = a shine agent derived from corn distillation
Sodium Dehyroacetate = antifungal preservative acid
Disodium EDTA = salt based preservative that
Methylparaben & Propylparaben = anti microbial preservatives
Imidazolidinyl Urea = a preservative used to prevent bacterial growth in products
the remaining ingredients are the mineral colour additives that the entire Daniel Thompson Beauty collection employs all are either pure geological minerals or salt compounds.

This product has so many chemicals in it, I sure would not touch this with my skin!
